This page provides videos and instructions for Shotokan Karate kata – Bassai Sho. This is one of the Shotokan katas for color belt (non-black belt) Karate students. This kata differs from the related Shotokan kata known as Bassai Dai.

Please use the demonstration video in order to see what the kata should look like at full speed and the instructional video in order to learn the individual elements involved in the kata. In order to master this kata, students must also demonstrate accurate Shotokan stances.
