Close Grip Bench Press – Martial Arts Strength Exercise
This page looks at the strength training exercise known as a Close Grip Bench Press. This strength exercise focuses primarily on the triceps muscles and secondarily on chest and shoulder muscles. This exercise is used to improve a martial artist’s martial arts punching and grappling strength. Other triceps exercises include triangle push-ups, chair dips, triceps pushdowns, etc.
