Shotokan Wheelchair Kata
This page looks at Shotokan wheelchair kata. These kata were designed for Karate students who need to use a wheelchair (i.e. due to an injury). Wheelchair katas help wheelchair-bound students to practice self-defense techniques and various strikes. They also are used to help improve a student’s physical fitness, muscle memory, focus/concentration, etc.
