Teukgong Moosool (Tukong Moosul) is a Korean martial arts style. It was developed by South Korean special forces units and combines techniques from Taekwondo, Hapkido, Judo, etc. This martial arts is focused on self-defense training and is not considered a type of “sports” martial arts. Students of Teukgong Moosool also often train with martial arts weapons.
When translated from Korean, Teukgong Moosool means Special (Teuk) Force (Gong) Martial (Moo) Way (Sool). Teukgong Moosool is also known as TGMS.
Some of the leading experts and/or founders of Teukgong Moosool (Tukong Moosul) include Wonik Yi and No-Won Park. Grandmaster Wonik Yi is the founder of the World Tukong Moosul Federation. Grandmaster No-Won Park is the founder of the International Teuk Gong Moo Sool Federation.
