Decline Bench Press – Martial Arts Strength Exercise
This page looks at the strength training exercise known as a “Decline Bench Press”. This exercise focuses on chest, shoulder and arm muscles. Martial artists use this exercise to improve their martial arts punching and grappling strength.
Given the decline in the bench, this exercise gives greater emphasis to the muscles in the lower chest than the standard prone bench press.
