Karate Kid Crane Kick Balance Exercise
If you want a little fun with your balance training, try the Karate Kid’s crane kick exercise on a wooden “plum blossom” pole (or Kung Fu’s Mei Hua Zhuang). Of course, for safety’s sake, you should practice on a low pole like Daniel-san. This exercise is essentially practicing a jumping front kick while balancing on a short wooden pole. Or you can try Daniel-san’s boat balancing exercise! Both balance exercises are in the Karate Kid clip below.
