Kick-Outs – Martial Arts Strength Exercise

This page looks at the strength training exercise known as “Kick-Outs”. This is a martial arts exercise used to build up core strength. It also helps to increase leg strength, especially for the quadriceps.

More advanced versions do not allow you to place your hands on the floor in order to generate greater instability and thus an even more intense core workout. See the section on V-Ups & V-Crunches for more information.
