Kneeling Back Rotation Stretch
This page provides details for the Kneeling Back Rotation Stretch. This stretch helps to stretch the lower back and obliques. This stretch is used by martial artists for martial arts techniques that involve twisting (i.e. grappling and spinning kicks).
In this stretch, a martial arts student will kneel on the ground with both hands also on the ground. Slowly, they will rotate their shoulders & torso and raise one arm towards the sky. After achieving the desired stretch, the student will return the arm to the ground and repeat this stretch with the other arm.
