Long Arm Crunches – Martial Arts Core Strength Exercise
This page looks at the strength training exercise known as Long Arm Crunches. This advanced crunch is a martial arts exercise used in order to build up core strength. This exercise will also improve rotational “torquing” power and thus help martial arts kicking power, punching power and grappling techniques.
In this core exercise, a person will keep their arms extended in order to add weight to their crunch. This makes the crunch more intense and provides the person with a greater core workout.
