Lying Down Glute Stretch
This page provides details for the Lying Down Glute Stretch or Lying Glute Stretch. The Lying Down Glute Stretch is also known as the Figure 4 Stretch.
This stretch technique helps to stretch muscles such as the glutes, hips and lower back. This stretch also helps to improve the flexibility needed for high kicks (i.e. axe kicks). For high axe kicks, martial artists should also work on their hamstring stretches.
