Here are a variety of neck stretches used by martial artists. Martial arts students in Judo, Wrestling and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu do a lot of neck stretches because these martial arts involve a significant amount of grappling and/or ground fighting. With grappling & ground fighting, students are often grabbed by the head & neck and this puts pressure on the neck.
All stretches and exercises should be supervised by a trained martial arts instructor in order to prevent injuries and to ensure the proper technique is utilized.
