Oblique Crunches – Martial Arts Strength Exercise
This page looks at the strength training exercise known as Oblique Crunches (or Side Crunches). These crunches are an exercise to build up core strength. Oblique crunches will help to improve rotational power (“torquing” power) and thus help to increase martial arts kicking and punching strength. Another variation is the standing oblique crunch.
