Step-Ups – Martial Arts Strength Training

This page looks at the strength training exercise known as Step-Ups. This exercise can improve leg strength and thus will help to generate stronger martial arts kicks.

This lower body exercise can be done on stairs, exercise step platforms, etc. It can also be done with or without weights (i.e. lightweight dumbbells).
