Triceps Pushdowns – Martial Arts Strength Exercise
This page looks at the strength training exercise known as Triceps Pushdowns. This triceps exercise is used by martial artists to improve their upper body strength and thus generate stronger punches and grappling techniques.
The triceps pushdown works primarily on the triceps muscles (the muscles on the back of your arm). Secondarily, this exercise helps to develop the strength in the biceps and forearms. This triceps exercise is also known as the Triceps Press Down. Other triceps exercises include triangle push-ups, triceps kickbacks, dips, etc.
