Upright Row – Martial Arts Strength Exercise
This page looks at the strength training exercise known as an “Upright Row”. This exercise works the shoulders, arms, trapezius muscles (upperback), etc. Martial artists use this exercise to improve their punching and grappling power. The upright row can be done with dumbbells or a barbell.
